Instructions

First, create a hibiscus simple syrup by boiling water, steeping hibiscus flowers within it until fragrant, then straining out the solids before stirring in sugar and allowing to cool. Next, for the glass rim, rub the edge with a grapefruit wedge and dip into a dish of kosher salt to coat. Then, in your serving glass, mix together grapefruit juice, lime juice, and hibiscus syrup. Stir well to combine. Pour in tequila and pack the glass with ice cubes. Top off with club soda.
