I came up with the Golden Eagle while working on my blog post for the Gold Drop cocktail. The combination of honey, lemon, and amaro caught my attention, leading me to experiment with mezcal and Braulio, inspired by their success in drinks like La Jetée and Montañista. Naming it after Mexico’s official bird, North America's biggest bird of prey, seemed fitting.
