Eagle Creek
Stirred Scotch and sweet vermouth with a dash of Angostura, while Zirbenz stone pine liqueur and a sprig of rosemary add a resinous, herbal note. Created by Jeremy Klitzke in 2021.

Jeremy Klitzke first made this drink in 2017 under the name Forest Fire, using an infusion of a noble fir cone gathered on a backpacking trip along the Eagle Creek trail in the Columbia River Gorge. That same year the Eagle Creek fire burned 50,000 acres of forest, and the name no longer felt right, so the drink was set aside. When the trail briefly reopened in early 2021, Klitzke revived it with Zirbenz in place of the lost infusion and renamed it Eagle Creek, as a tribute to the landscape's former beauty and its recovery.
