Garnish: Supposed to add Lemon zest twist, and then discard. Instead, I added one Luxardo Maraschino cherry into glass. I may be missing out on the citrus note. Laissez les bon temps rouler.

Instructions

  1. Ice or otherwise chill rocks glass and set to one side.
  2. Separately, in mixing glass, add Rye and syrup and bitters,
  3. then ice, and stir (I'm told the magic number is 30 times).
  4. Then, using atomizer, spray absinthe three times into the empty, chilled rocks glass
  5. and then strain stirred drink into the absinthe-sprayed glass.
