Rye whiskey topped with spruce beer, with a little Fernet Branca, a dash of Angostura and a lime wedge. Long, resinous and bitter-herbal. Created by Christopher Bevins in 2012.

Christopher Bevins came across a bottle of spruce beer in a local gourmet soda shop and, after tasting it, wanted to combine it with alcohol. The Spruce Moose was also inspired by Zach's Dark Phoenix.
