Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe.
  2. Add the cognac, rye whiskey, sweet vermouth and Angostura bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice.
  3. Stir until well chilled and slightly diluted.
  4. Strain into the chilled coupe.
  5. Garnish with an orange zest twist, or a Luxardo maraschino cherry.
