Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe.
  2. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
  3. Add the brandy, rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, lemon juice and Angostura bitters.
  4. Stir until well chilled.
  5. Strain into the chilled coupe.
  6. Squeeze the lemon zest over the drink, run it around the rim, and drop it in.
