Frederic Yarm of Boston created Mockingbird, Wish Me Luck in 2021, starting from a pairing of rye whiskey and aquavit and adding Cynar, Chartreuse and mole bitters, a combination inspired by the creator's own Up Jumped the Devil. The name comes from Charles Bukowski's 1972 poetry collection.
