Fleur Carré
🥄0
Stir Rye Whiskey, BéNéDictine, St-Germain, Sweet Vermouth with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.
At work, there was a couple who loved floral cocktails. They asked for a flowery twist on a De La Louisiane. Initially, I doubled the rye whiskey and replaced the sweet vermouth with St. Germain. However, this mix felt too sweet and lacked balance. To fix it, I incorporated Punt e Mes, which complemented the elderflower beautifully as seen in the Maximilian Affair. This tweak perfected the drink. Later on, at home, I named it the Fleur Carré.
