Shake Jamaican Rum, Pineapple Juice, Lemon Juice, Cinnamon Syrup with ice. Strain into a highball glass.

I started with the name "Dead Men Float" and then thought it was the perfect chance to use my favorite shot blend, 50:50 Fernet-Branca and Mr Black (which I affectionately call a Mr Branca™). Tilting the ratio slightly towards Fernet enhances both the aroma and its ability to cut through as you finish the drink.

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except for the Fernet Branca and coffee liqueur in a shaker with some ice cubes.
Shake vigorously.
Strain this mixture over crushed ice in a highball glass.
Carefully float the Fernet Branca and coffee liqueur on top of the drink.
Garnish with pineapple fronds.
