Instructions

  1. Warm the highball glass.
  2. Put a bar spoon of honey syrup into the warmed glass.
  3. Add the dark rum, boiling water, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder and freshly grated nutmeg.
  4. Stir until the honey and butter have fully dissolved.
  5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a lemon slice studded with cloves.
