Following a trip to Munnar, India, I returned with an abundance of fresh masala and chai spices, inspiring me to create an infusion. The initial surprise was the sharpness from the black tea and spices, but using a stronger base spirit helped balance it out. The result is a cocktail that's robust in spiciness yet smooth on the palate.
