Equal parts dry and sweet vermouth, stirred with orange bitters and finished with a lemon twist. Light and herbal, with the dry vermouth cutting the sweetness. Dates to the 1930s.

The Addington, also known as the Red and White, dates from the 1930s and was originally made without orange bitters. Paul Clarke added them later.
