Shake Gin, St-Germain, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Pomegranate Juice with ice. Strain into a coupe.

Inspired by the remaining fruits on my pomegranate tree, I created this drink to celebrate the close of the season.

from a whole fresh pomegranate

Instructions

  1. For the Big and Red cocktail:
  2. Start by slicing one end off a fresh pomegranate carefully. Remove most of the seeds without damaging the skin to use as a vessel.
  3. Combine all components in a shaker filled with ice, shake well, then pour through a strainer directly into the hollowed-out pomegranate shell.
