HB Whitmore devised the Myer Creek Cocktail in 2005 while experimenting with Aperol, trying it alongside different liqueurs, fruit juices and spirits. The creator prefers Booths gin in the drink, though Beefeater also works well, and Brokers gin gives a more pronounced botanical character.
