Instructions

  1. Fill the rocks glass with ice, pour in the absinthe and top with chilled water.
  2. Meanwhile, shake the gin, green Chartreuse, lime juice, simple syrup and fresh basil with ice.
  3. Empty the ice and water from the glass so only an absinthe coating remains, then refill with fresh ice.
  4. Fine strain the shaker contents into the glass.
  5. Garnish with a basil leaf.
