Jolly Jane
🥄0
Stir Blended Scotch, Sweet Vermouth, Dry Sherry, CioCiaro with ice. Strain into a coupe.
The Jolly Jane is named after Jane Toppan, a notorious serial killer from the 1890s whom I discovered during a Cutty Sark-sponsored Boston Crime Tour I helped organize as an officer of the USBG’s Boston chapter. Inspired by crafting The Manhatta earlier that day with Punt e Mes and Lustau East India Solera Sherry, I chose Amaro Ciociaro for its sophistication in this Scotch cocktail, which previous versions lacked when using Aperol or Campari.
