Instructions

  1. Mix salt into simple syrup.
  2. Combine this mixture with all ingredients except absinthe and lemon twist in a shaker filled with ice.
  3. Stir gently.
  4. Strain the contents into a rocks glass that has been rinsed with absinthe.
  5. Garnish by expressing a lemon peel over the drink before discarding it.
