Rye whiskey and apple brandy stirred with a generous measure of Green Chartreuse, giving intense herbal sweetness over a spirit-forward base. Strong, herbal and slightly fruity.

The Diamondback originated at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore. Around 2005, Murray Stenson of Zig Zag Café in Seattle introduced this version, which uses green Chartreuse in place of the yellow Chartreuse of the original.
