Instructions

In a mixing glass, muddle the sugar cube with a few drops of water until dissolved. Add the Lyre's American Malt, Peychaud's bitters, and ice to the mixing glass. Stir the mixture until well chilled (rebalance hint: add more bitter for depth). Rinse a chilled Old Fashioned glass with fennel-anise blend, discarding the excess. Strain the malt mixture into the prepared glass. Express the lemon peel over the drink and discard or place it in the glass as garnish. A non-alcoholic approximation of the Sazerac.
