Wrong Week

A stirred, spirit-heavy drink of gin, blended Scotch and cognac, rounded out by sweet vermouth with a little orange liqueur and bitters. A half rim of cream of coconut and a sugar shard make it look as unusual as it tastes.

Wrong Week was the first drink from a series of weekly movie-themed date nights, where the couple take turns making cocktails inspired by classic films. Its ingredients each allude to giving something up: Tom Cat bitters for smoking, sweet vermouth for drinking and cream of coconut for glue sniffing. The scotch-based drink is served on an edible sugar glass shard, with Hennessy added as a nod to jive talk.
