Right Place Wrong Time

Stir Mezcal, Cynar, Strega, Peychaud's Bitters with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

Recently, my chef requested a cocktail featuring Strega, so I served him Chris Hannah’s Night Tripper. This sparked an idea for me to experiment at home by swapping out Bourbon and Averna with mezcal and Cynar while keeping Strega and Peychaud's Bitters intact. Inspired by previous successful pairings of Cynar and Strega in Alex Day’s La Bateleur and Mike Steele’s The Truth, I decided to name this new creation after a Dr. John song title: Right Place Wrong Time.
