- Pour the Angostura bitters and espresso into a rocks glass and stir to combine.
- Add three or four ice cubes and the Cherry Heering, then stir.
- Top up with more ice, add the bourbon and stir once more.
- Twist the lemon peel over the drink and drop a piece of the zest in.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
