A stirred mix of bourbon and sweet vermouth, lifted by a little triple sec and a small splash of lemon juice. Rich and rounded, with orange sweetness up front and a light citrus edge at the finish.

Visiting Mum dates from 2021, when the creator saw their mother again after months apart during the pandemic. The drink was mixed from whatever could be found in the creator's childhood home and served in a family heirloom glass more than a century old.
