Instructions

  1. Put two ice cubes in a rocks glass. Add half of the white rum, the simple syrup and the Angostura bitters, and stir.
  2. Add the rest of the rum and a couple more ice cubes, then stir again.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and stir once more.
  4. Pour the apple juice gently over the top so that it floats.
  5. Garnish with an orange zest twist.
