Distinguished Spirits made Thursday's Child in 2017 as a riff on the Corpse Reviver #2, inspired by Eartha Kitt. Experimenting took the drink in its own direction, and an earthy taste first earned it the nickname "Earthy Kitt" before it was named after Kitt's memoir, "Thursday's Child". Despite containing citrus, the drink is stirred rather than shaken.
