Eric Witz of Medford, MA adapted Jacob Grier's Lazy Bear into a drink with the flavours of a Dark & Stormy. The name comes from the garment used to calm anxious dogs during thunderstorms, here meant to settle people instead. Ginger syrup and Smith & Cross rum temper the white dog whiskey, and pimento bitters stand in for falernum.
