Instructions

  1. Put a pinch of salt in a rocks glass.
  2. Pour in the Cynar and stir gently to dissolve the salt.
  3. Add the sweet vermouth, orange bitters, lemon juice and ice.
  4. Stir briefly until everything is combined.
  5. Taste. There should be only a hint of salt. If it is too salty, pour it out and start again with less salt.
  6. Twist five lemon twists over the surface of the drink, then drop one into the glass.
