- Warm the cream gently in a pot, stopping when it steams but before it boils.
- Take the pot off the heat and whisk in the dark chocolate until it has melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the spiced rum and return to low heat just until the drink is hot all the way through.
- Pour into a heatproof mug.
- Grate cinnamon stick and nutmeg over the surface.
- Float the marshmallows on top.
