In 2014, Boston was buzzing with swizzles thanks to the debut of Death & Co.'s cocktail book and an alum from D&Co. at Hawthorne Bar who featured them on their menu. One drink that caught my attention was Mike Fleming's Sinnerman at West Bridge, a blend of sweet vermouth, gentian liqueur, and allspice dram. Though it leaned towards the sweeter side, I thought adding citrus could balance it out nicely. Then again, turning it into a swizzle might be even better...
