Metal Urbain
🥄0
Stir Cognac, Sweet Vermouth, Amaro Nardini, Green Chartreuse with ice. Strain into a coupe.
Inspired by the Punt e Mes-Amaro Nardini combo in the Carroll Gardens and other cocktails, I decided to pair my Pierre Ferrand Cognac with Amaro Nardini, much like how Green Chartreuse complements it in drinks such as the Green Hornet and Key Party. Adding chocolate bitters enhanced both the Nardini and cognac, since green chartreuse and chocolate go together beautifully. With these two French ingredients, I named this cocktail after Métal Urbain, a pioneering French punk band whose music was popular at my grad school radio station.
