Stirred over ice in a rocks glass, with equal parts rum, Averna and Canadian whisky, so the bittersweet amaro takes a leading role, while lemon and grapefruit twists add a fresh citrus aroma. Created by Sandy De Almeida at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto in 2009.

Instructions

  1. Mix the cocktail by stirring over ice.
  2. Pour the mixture through a strainer into a cold coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with the zest from grapefruit and lemon peels.
