Frederic Yarm of the Blue Room created Madame Mustache in 2013 for a Whiskey & Amari night themed around Women of the Wild West. Event organizer Matt Schrage, whose birthday it was, had asked for a special Scaffa, a traditional room-temperature drink. Built on agricole rum and Cynar, with Drambuie adding body and sweetness, it is named after Eleanore Dumont, the mustachioed Wild West figure.
