Instructions

  1. Chill a rocks glass and fill it with ice, or add a large chunk of block ice if you have one.
  2. Add the Angostura bitters, absinthe, rye whiskey and Bénédictine to a mixing glass with ice.
  3. Stir until well chilled.
  4. Strain into the rocks glass over the ice.
  5. Twist a piece of lemon zest over the drink and drop it in.
