The Golden Finch was part of my 2015 "Daiquiri-palooza" series where I created weekly daiquiri variations for an entire year. While rummaging through the back bar, I came across a nearly full bottle of Galliano and remembered stumbling upon various Yellow Bird recipes online. These included versions with pineapple juice and creme de banane instead of curacao. Inspired by these, I blended those flavors into one drink while adjusting the ratios to make it more akin to a classic daiquiri rather than a tropical fruit punch.
