Egor Petrov created the Eden Terrace Fizz at Corner Store Bar in Auckland in 2012, when a guest asked for something fruity and refreshing. White rum was the first idea, but the bar had run out, so Appletons went into the glass instead. The recipe was later reworked for an Appletons Rum competition, keeping the rum in front and the other ingredients easy to find.
