East Harlem
🥄0
Stir AñEjo Rum, Sweet Vermouth, Apricot Brandy, Triple Sec with ice. Strain into a coupe.
One night while chatting about Periodista’s connection to Boston, I got inspired to experiment with its recipe. I focused on apricot liqueur and blended elements from the 1940s Cuban classic with Julie Reiner's Slope cocktail. This led me to create a Rum Manhattan variation. Naming it East Harlem seemed fitting, given that area's strong ties to Cuba in New York City.
