Place ice cubes in a shaker, using around 8 pieces.
Pour gin, Maraschino liqueur, orange bitters, and lemon juice into the shaker.
Shake vigorously for a few seconds then strain over ice into the chilled glass.
Decorate with a cocktail cherry on a pick and a citrus slice.
