A sour built on rum and lemon, with the bitter-vegetal edge of artichoke amaro softened by nutty orgeat and a floral note from St-Germain. Served over crushed ice, it is tart, herbal and lightly sweet.

Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice.
  2. Add the lemon juice, Cynar or other carciofo amaro, white rum, orgeat and St-Germain to a shaker with ice.
  3. Shake hard until the shaker is well chilled.
  4. Strain over the crushed ice in the glass.
