A sour with Angostura bitters in place of the spirit, balanced by lime juice and simple syrup and given a silky body by egg white. Created by Kirk Estopinal at Cure in New Orleans in 2009.

Kirk Estopinal of Cure in New Orleans created the Angostura Sour in 2009 as a polished reworking of the drink Charles Baker described in The Gentleman's Companion under the names Trinidad and Angostura Fizz.
