- Fill a shaker with ice.
- Add the rum, pineapple juice, passion fruit syrup, lime juice, orgeat and Angostura bitters.
- Shake hard until well chilled and mixed.
- Strain into a coupe filled with crushed ice.
- Pour the grenadine in slowly so it sinks and forms a layer beneath the drink.
- Garnish with the orange peel and the maraschino cherry.
