Instructions

Wash a lime under cold water and slice it into small wedges; set aside two for later use as garnishes. Crush ice cubes. Cut watermelon into tiny 1x1 cm pieces, discarding seeds if present. Reserve one wedge for garnish and extra pieces for serving separately. Place the remaining lime slices and sugar at the bottom of each glass. Muddle the lime wedges and sugar until the sugar fully dissolves using a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon. Add mint leaves to the glasses and lightly crush them with your muddling tool. Include watermelon cubes in the mixture and gently break them up by crushing. Pour rum into the glasses along with the crushed ice, then stir thoroughly. Finish each drink by topping off with soda water until it reaches the rim of the glass. Serve alongside straws, a stirring stick or pick, and garnish with mint leaves, watermelon, and lime wedges.
