A stirred, gin-heavy Negroni variation with sweet vermouth, just a touch of Campari and a splash of Jeppson's Malort. Bitter and herbal, finished with an orange twist. Created by Toby Maloney in 2009.

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir.
  2. Strain into a coupe.
  3. To garnish, flame an orange slice above the drink to release its oils and ignite them briefly with a lighter.
