Treble Green

A shaken vodka drink with cucumber, apple and lime, topped with sparkling white wine. Maraschino liqueur and orange liqueur add a light sweetness to a fresh, green flavour.
Walter Bonaventura created the Treble Green in 2014 at Loco's Bar in Rovereto, Italy. The name plays on "triple green" and on treble as something high-pitched, a word that goes back to the Latin triplum, the medieval musical term for a third, higher-pitched voice. The drink combines three greens: green apple, cucumber and lime.
