Soak almonds and cashews in water for 2 to 3 hours, then remove them from soaking and peel the almonds.
Using a blender, combine soaked almonds, cashews, cardamom, fennel seeds, and black peppercorns until you achieve a smooth consistency.
In a saucepan, warm milk with sugar over low heat until the sugar has fully dissolved. Then, stir in the nut and spice paste and continue cooking for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
Allow the mixture to cool after removing it from the heat. Strain the cooled Thandai mix to eliminate any lumps or solids.
Pack a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, then add the strained Thandai mixture, rosewater, and gin. Vigorously agitate the ingredients until well chilled.
Pour the blended cocktail into a serving glass and garnish it elegantly with fresh rose petals.
