The Texian Egg Nogg was concocted inside a prison cell by General Thomas Green and his troops from the Army of the Texas Republic. They managed to bribe the guards to obtain ingredients for a celebration following their victory at the Battle of San Jacinto. Legend has it that they used donkey milk in this unique drink.
