During a two-week trip to Taiwan, I had the chance to explore two unique cocktail menus at a bar there. One menu offered classic drinks with a twist, but only upon request. The other featured an extensive list of individual ingredients from which you could pick one. You don't get to choose the spirit or any modifiers; the bartender decides everything else. Curious about this approach, I selected cardamom and enjoyed whatever creation they came up with.
