Instructions

Chill the soda water thoroughly before starting. Select your serving vessel from options like a gin and tonic cup, highball glass, large wine goblet, low cocktail glass, mug, or Moscow mule mug. Pack it with ice cubes, around 5 per glass, or use crushed ice to fill about half of the container. Prepare a lemon by slicing it into quarters. Drop two slices into your chosen glass and set aside the remaining pieces for later decoration. Pour in syren syrup, fresh lemon juice, and gin. Mix well. Complete with a splash of chilled soda water on top. Finish off by garnishing with the leftover lemon wedge and an optional sprig of lemon balm. Insert a straw or swizzle stick and give it a few stirs to blend everything together.
