- Pour the orange juice over the ice.
- Add the club soda slowly so the fizz stays lively.
- Pour the grenadine slowly down the inside of the glass, or over the back of a bar spoon, so it sinks and forms a red-to-orange gradient.
- Garnish with the orange peel and the maraschino cherry.
