Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker with ice and add the rum, Fernet Branca, lemon juice and simple syrup. Leave the orange bitters out for now.
  2. Shake hard until the shaker is frosty.
  3. Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice.
  4. Strain the drink over the crushed ice.
  5. Dash the orange bitters over the surface so they sit on top.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a piece of orange peel.
